Vacation Time (+ some Snippets)
Feb. 2nd, 2025 04:52 pmToday is the first day of our vacation, thank God, and I am so excited just to sit around and do...nothing. How wonderful. We have so many things that we're getting ready to do this week though that are going to be really fun! I'm lucky to have my cool manager live in the same area I do and he told me about some fun nightlife stuff that's actually closer to where we live.
I've been getting into playing Fallout: New Vegas again and I'm excited. FNV is a game that makes me feel like I'm "coming home" and I'm excited to share more of the series with my boyfriend. He's played some of FNV but I also want to play 3 and 4 and, dare I say, even 76. I will say 76 got more fun after I forgot about the prerelease expectations and hype, and just used it as a fun walking sim where I shot a super mutant or ghoul from time to time. The most fun I've had with the game this round of obsession, though, is probably figuring out how all of our OCs would fit into a Fallout AU. I want to do little profiles of our OCs for here, that would have a tag that you could use as a reference. But also, I dunno if I'd ever post about or OCs so much? I want to post more about our OCs, and my own personal OCs, and my fandom OCs but I always feel very awkward doing it.
We watched Fire Walk With Me. Ow. Oof. Ouch. Laura Palmer I love you so much you real and alive girl. Now there's only The Return/s3 of Twin Peaks...boohoo. There's also the Missing Pieces and also the book(s?) but still! I'll be excited to rewatch. I want to see if I can spot BOB in the mirror (the goof that made Lynch and Frost pivot the show to include Frank Silva) without being guided haha. We also need to pick up our B5 rewatch, and watch the rest of the extra canon stuff we still need to. At least there will always be more Babylon 5, somehow.
